Recently this Polo had been to VW for the emissions update and to the our surprise the EGR had failed 
Normally the VAG 1.6 tdi ecu can be unlocked via obd but with a recent VAG update we had to do this one the old fashion way and remove the ecu to unlock it.
Once the ecu was back we completed the read and then remapped with our Performance remap and removed the EGR from the map to stop it throwing faults and in the process saved the customer having to pay for a new EGR and fitting and gave it more power
